description
When selecting a rectifier bridge, it is essential to ensure its technical specifications fully match the generator's requirements, including key parameters like rated voltage, rated current, and maximum reverse voltage. The rectifier bridge is technically viable only if it meets or exceeds these criteria. Additionally, its physical characteristics, such as packaging, pin configuration, and thermal design, must suit the generator's installation environment and operating conditions. Moreover, the rectifier bridge should integrate easily into the generator's electrical system, avoiding added installation complexity or space constraints.
The BXN series from DENSO includes both sintered and press-fit types. For the sintered models, the heat sink heat sinks are primarily made of copper, though lower power versions may use aluminum or iron. While various models share a similar appearance, their outer diameters vary. In contrast, the press-fit models feature aluminum heat sinks. Although they have a similar appearance, differences in stator wire welding methods and overall shapes distinguish them from each other. Copper heat sink heat sinks in the BXN series offer superior thermal performance compared to other materials. These heat sinks are nickel-heat sinkd for durability and do not require special protective coatings. The assembly is secured with iron rivets. The Toyota series, notable for its distinctive "drumstick" appearance, is easily recognizable. It features heat sinks made of either copper or aluminum. The design does not include excitation tubes, resulting in a streamlined structure with fewer components, which enhances reliability and performance.
The BXN11508-G1 rectifier is designed for Toyota applications and is manufactured by Denso. This part features 6-50A Avalanche Press-Fit diodes, with a diameter of 109mm and comes with M6×33mm battery post and aluminum heat sinks for enhanced durability and heat dissipation.
This rectifier provides superior performance for Toyota alternators and is built to withstand high power demands, making it a reliable choice for automotive electrical systems.
